About the Author

Janne Faulkner and Harley Anstee have influenced a generation of designers with their philosophy that a house should mirror the life and aspirations of its owner. In their practice at Nexus Designs, one of Australia's foremost interior design consultancies, they have worked on many public and private buildings throughout Australia and overseas. Their pride in the Australian landscape and use of contemporary art are a signature of their unique and timeless interiors. In 1982 Janne was appointed a member of the Order of Australia for her services to the arts as a designer. Janne and Harley live in Melbourne.
