The latest innovation from Wahoo will literally take your indoor training to the next level! KICKR CLIMB indoor grade simulator is designed to work exclusively with the new KICKR and new SNAP and when paired, it will add physical grade changes to your indoor training. The CLIMB is compatible with Third Party Apps, so whether riding a virtual course or performing a structured workout, KICKR CLIMB blends assents and descents with resistance changes for a truly immersive indoor training experience. The world isn’t flat; now, neither is your ride!

Building on the proven success of Wahoo’s line of KICKR Smart Trainers, the new 2018 edition delivers a virtually silent experience and a specially engineered, heavier flywheel to provide cyclists with the exact inertia they need to recreate the feeling of riding outdoors. The KICKR continues to provide the best in class indoor smart trainer design with carbon steel body for the durability. Its unmatched compatibility expands to include our new indoor grade simulator, the Wahoo KICKR CLIMB, and our new Bluetooth and ANT+ powered fan, the KICKR HEADWIND. The KICKR includes an 11 speed cassette for easy setup and an RPM cadence sensor.

Features

  • Ascents of up to 20% and descents of 10%. KICKR CLIMB recreates grade changes from climbing workouts and virtual courses in real time by quickly raising and lowering your bike.
  • Unlock Mode, which allows the CLIMB to react to grade changes from third party apps such has Zwift or TrainerRoad, or from your ELEMNT/ELEMNT BOLT GPS bike computer. Whether riding a virtual course or performing a structured workout, KICKR CLIMB blends physical grade changes with resistance changes to take your indoor ride to the next level.
  • Lock Mode, which ensures the CLIMB will only respond to commands received from its remote control. This control attaches to the CLIMB’s handlebars so you can adjust the grade manually with the simple press of a button. You can also use the remote to quickly pair your CLIMB to your 2017 KICKR, 2018 KICKR or 2017 KICKR SNAP. When not in use, the remote conveniently stores away in the top of the KICKR CLIMB.
  • Direct pairing with the 2017 KICKR and 2017 KICKR SNAP via the CLIMB’s remote. The CLIMB will receive grade change commands directly from the trainer as opposed to pairing it directly to an app. This allows the KICKR CLIMB to work with any program that sends grade/sim data to the KICKR.

The KICKR CLIMB physically adjusts your bike position to mimic real roads and mountain climbing. This allows you to naturally change position on the bike, engage climbing muscles, and improve pedalling technique indoors to become more efficient and powerful climber outdoors.
