About the Author

John Marder has over thirty years experience in professional horticulture, as craftsman, technologist, designer and teacher. He holds an MSc in Horticulture from Reading University, and s a Professional Associate of the RHS. He has designed and constructed five water-efficient demonstration gardens in South-East England, sponsored by Southern Water in collaboration with various host authorities.
