Wrist Splint Ambidextrous is designed to immobilize and provide firm support to hand and wrist in various orthopedic conditions. It immobilizes the wrist in the dorsi-flexion/functional position while allowing full range of motion to fingers and thumb. It compresses and retains the body heat to allay the local pain and inflammation. The product can be removed to permit, therapy sessions, washing, and hygiene.

It is shaped anatomically to provide uniform compression around the wrist.
The rigid support is provided by anatomically contoured aluminum splints. These splints can be molded in the cold to fit the individual patient accurately. Hook loop closures help in easy application and adjustment of the product.
The thumb apertures are designed so that the same product can be used for both left and the right hand just by swapping the splint from one pocket to another. It maintains the thumb in its abduction position.
