REFUNDS
Refunds will be given if the product is defective, or if you change your mind and wish to return unused goods within 14 days from order arrival. All items must be returned in their original packaging.
If the product is defective, once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. We will also credit you back for your return postage fees.
If you've simply changed your mind and wish to return your order, we will process your refund once your goods have been received and restocked. In this case, there will be a 10% restocking fee (based on the value of your order) to cover our costs, and you will have to pay the original shipping fee (we will tell you what this is prior to the return as most of our products are sent with free shipping). You will be responsible for organising return postage and for the return postage fees. This applies only to unused goods within 14 days of purchase.
The terms of this include:
1. The product must be returned in new, saleable condition and must not be used or abused;
2. The customer must pay the cost of the postage back to us;
3. The customer accepts that the original cost of postage has been spend and is non-refundable as it is not recoverable;
4. Returns cannot be accepted for consumables due to their inherent perishable nature. This applies to grain, hops, yeast and other ingredients that cannot be resold upon being returned.
If any of the above are not satisfied, Distillery King reserves the right to not accept the return and return the items back to the customer or negotiate a partial refund.
After 14 days from purchase, goods cannot be returned if you change your mind. Used goods cannot be returned if you change your mind.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.
SALE ITEMS
Both sale and regular priced items may be returned and refunded.
EXCHANGES
We will replace items if they are defective or damaged, or if you change your mind so long as the goods are un-used. If the item is defective, we will credit the return shipping costs. If the item has been damaged in transit, we will need proof supplied no more than 24 hours after receiving the shipment. If you change your mind and wish to return un-used goods, your will be responsible for return shipping costs. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. You are required to use a trackable shipping service. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. All items must be returned in their original packaging.
