Landy and Michael know how important it is to make useful and quality products. Their first product launched was the Mediband medical ID product which has been helping customers and saving lives worldwide since 2004! Medibands are now distributed around Australia in pharmacies, hospitals and even pharmaceutical trials world-wide.


FeverMates was conceived when our kids were sick with the flu, they were always grumpy, miserable and impossible to manage. Taking their temperature to work out how sick they were was impossible and on one occasion, the battery failed on the digital thermometer.


That’s when we decided there had to be an easier way of monitoring a fever. It took a few months of planning and working out exactly how we were going to make a product that could be easily and safely used. After deciding on a stick-on product, we made a prototype that passed all relevant product and safety tests, then proceeded to test it on ourselves and our children when we were unwell with the flu. It worked! We all slept soundly with a fever indicating FeverMates stuck to our foreheads and could read the temperature without having to be woken up!


And the rest is history as they say. FeverMates are now sold in just about all continents worldwide, from India to Slovakia to South Africa. Since then, FeverMates has launched Cooling Patches, which easily adhere to your child's forehead to provide blissful cooling relief for up to eight hours. We have even used them when we have had headaches and migraines - they really do work to cool things down! Australian-made FeverMates instant hand and surface sanitiser was developed to help flatten the curve and ensure everyone had access to low-cost and reliable hand sanitiser.


Plans are afoot to introduce other fever-related products, in an effort to make the management of fever easier than ever. It’s the simple things in life that make things easier for parents!


Quite often, even after we’ve chosen an item and purchased it successfully, there may be some things we might want to change or repair afterwards - either during or following the delivery process, when filing a return or applying for using our warranty. Here we'll try to explain in plain terms how FeverMates's warranty policy works and how you can use it when shopping with us!


What Products are Provided with Warranty?


FeverMates guarantees all products sold are fit for all the purposes for which goods of that kind are commonly supplied, acceptable in appearance and finish, free from defects, safe and of course durable and fit for purpose.


Repair, Replacement or Refund
You can return an item to FeverMates if it’s faulty, incorrectly described, different from a sample shown, doesn’t do what we said it would do or if it’s not of acceptable quality. If the product is unsafe, can’t be fixed within a reasonable time, or you simply would not have bought it given the nature of the defect, we’ll offer you an exchange, repair or refund.


Warranty
To request an exchange, repair or refund, you will need to prove that you purchased the product from FeverMates. If you can’t provide an order confirmation, another form of proof of purchase will be required. If the product is assessed to be faulty or unfit for its intended purpose, refunds will be issued using the same method as your original payment.


Change of Mind Returns
Change of mind returns are offered on most products within 14 days from the date the product was received. This does not apply to hand sanitiser, face masks and other Personal Protective Products, including first aid kits, due to health, hygiene and safety concerns. The product must be in its original new condition and unopened. Used, opened or tampered with products and packaging cannot be returned and will not be accepted.


Postage for change of mind returns must be paid for by the customer, including the initial free postage that is incorporated in the sale price where items have free shipping. Shipping cost is not refundable.


Where to Apply for Warranty Services?


Under these Limited Warranties, the legal liability of our store is limited to replacement or refund if required.


These Limited Warranties are not applicable for any of our products which have been altered by any person, dealer, or company without the express written authorisation of our store. Please note, that some States Do Not Allow Limitations On How Long An Implied Warranty Lasts, So The Above Limitations May Not Apply To You.


Change and Return


To file a change or warranty return, please contact our team via Catch messaging for further assistance.


Refunds


Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via Catch messaging that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on conditions stated above. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.


NOTE: Refunds do not apply to hand sanitiser, or face masks and other Personal Protective Products due to health, hygiene and safety concerns. Refunds will also not be given if the product has been opened or used.


Late or Missing Refunds


If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.


Shipping


To return your product, please contact our team via Catch messaging for return instructions. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
