The Tech store is a small family oriented business. We are Sydney based and family owned and our aim is to source and supply affordable everyday goods (electronics, fashion, fitness ...) to all Australians.

Change of Mind Returns :


1. The Tech store will allow a return where you have changed your mind, provided that the item in question is:


  • Returned within 14 days of receiving the order

  • As new and is not used, worn, or opened and has all original packaging and tags in-tact (including any package seals (if any) being unbroken)

  • In a resalable condition; and

  • Not damaged in any way

2. We cannot accept change of mind returns on items that come in sealed packages or boxes where seals are damaged or broken.


3. You will be responsible for the cost and risk of returning goods, including the cost of return shipping. If the item is not received by The Tech Store - Sydney, you will not be eligible for a credit or exchange.


4. You may be provided with a product exchange, refund or store credit (at our discretion) only when the returned product is received, and it complies with the requirements outlined above.


5. If the returned item does not meet the conditions of this policy, you will be responsible for the cost of receiving your returned goods back to your nominated address.


INCORRECT OR FAULTY GOODS


Our quality control teams do inspect all deliveries to ensure the products you receive meet our exact quality standards. However, if you do receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect product, please contact us to arrange a return delivery and a refund or exchange. The return must be received by The Tech Store within 30 days.


Do you offer returns/Exchanges? Yes, we do. Simply get in touch


If so, who will pay for the postage? If the item is deemed faulty (you must provide evidence via photos or videos) we will supply you with a prepaid AUST POST label to return the parcel back to us.


Do you offer returns and exchanges on all products? Yes, we do - provided they are in pristine condition, unopen and unused. The new item must be of the same or greater value.


What is the maximum time a customer can request a refund or exchange? For any change of mind, we offer a 30 days return policy. Please ensure the goods are brand new and in their original/pristine conditions. The buyer is to pay for postage and transit insurance.


Consumer guarantees


Under the Australian Consumer Law, when you buy products and services they come with automatic guarantees that they will work and do what you asked for. If you buy something that isn't right, you have consumer rights.


Businesses must provide these automatic guarantees regardless of any other warranties they give to you or sell you.


If a business fails to deliver any of these guarantees, you have consumer rights for:


  • Repair, replacement or refund

  • Cancelling a service

  • Compensation for damages & loss

  • Consumer guarantees on products and services

Since 1 January 2011, the following consumer guarantees on products and services apply.


Products must be of acceptable quality, that is:


  • Safe, lasting, with no faults

  • Look acceptable

  • Do all the things someone would normally expect them to do

  • Acceptable quality takes into account what would normally be expected for the type of product and cost.

Products must:


  • Match descriptions made by the salesperson, on packaging and labels, and in promotions or advertising

  • Match any demonstration model or sample you asked for

  • Be fit for the purpose the business told you it would be fit for and for any purpose that you made known to the business before purchasing

  • Come with full title and ownership

  • Not carry any hidden debts or extra charges

  • Come with undisturbed possession, so no one has a right to take the goods away or prevent you from using them

  • Meet any extra promises made about performance, condition and quality, such as lifetime guarantees and money-back offers

  • Have spare parts and repair facilities available for a reasonable time after purchase unless you were told otherwise
