Catch.com.au ‘Free for the Team’ Competition - Terms and Conditions (OFFICEWORKS)

1. Definitions

For this Promotion, the following terms have the following meanings:

Term	Meaning
AEDT/ AEST	AEDT means Australian Eastern Daylight Time. AEST means Australian Eastern Standard Time
Promoter	Catch.com.au Pty Ltd (ABN 22 149 779 939) of 240-246 East Boundary Road, Bentleigh East, VIC)

Promotion Period	12.01AM AEST 12/07/2021 – 11:59PM AEST 08/08/2021

 

2. Eligibility

This competition is open to eligible Team Members of Officeworks. To be an eligible team member you must be a current employee of Wesfarmers Limited or one of its subsidiaries (each a “Wesfarmers Company”).

A current employee is:

a permanent full-time or part time employee; or
a casual employee who has been employed by a Wesfarmers Company for a continuous period of at least 3 months.

Entrants must be aged 18 years or older. If under 18 years of age, a nominated parent or guardian may enter on their behalf by using the Club Catch Account on behalf of the Team Member. Prizes will be awarded to the Club Catch account of the parent or legal guardian who consented to the entrant registering in the Promotion on behalf of that entrant, at the sole discretion of the promoter.

3. Entry

By entering this Promotion, the entrant accepts these terms and conditions. Entries may only be submitted once per Wesfarmers Team Member payroll ID and must be submitted during the Promotion Period. In order for the Promoter to notify the winners, the entrant must provide his or her full name and e-mail address. The Promoter may deem an incomplete entry invalid. To enter, Team Members of KMART are to sign up for a free Club Catch Membership by:

Entering their Team Member ID and personal details; and
Activate their Membership by clicking the link provided

 

4. Bonus Entry

To receive a bonus entry into this promotion, Team Members who have entered by registering and activating their Club Catch Membership, must spend a minimum of $50 at catch.com.au during the promotional period.

One (1) Bonus Entry is given per Club Catch account, per transaction over $50 made during the promotional period.

The entrant must checkout using their Club Catch account information for the Bonus Entry to be deemed valid.

5. Prizes

There will be a total of 204 prizes.

There are 2 Prize levels:

Grand Prize.
1st prize winners will receive one (1) of five (5) $500 Catch Gift Cards
2nd prize will receive one (1) of eight (8) $250 Catch Gift Cards
3rd prize will receive one (1) of thirty (30) $100 Catch Gift Cards

Prizes valued at $7,500. Main and Bonus Entries are valid for this prize. Awarded at the end of the promotional period. See Clause 3 for Entry requirements.

Weekly Prize
25 x $50 Catch Gift Cards, each week

Prizes valued at $5,000 total. 100 x $50 Catch Gift Cards available to win over the promotional period.

The total prize pool is valued at $12,500. Catch Gift Card is valid for 12 months from the date of issue and may be used to purchase any product on Catch.com.au. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be substituted for cash. If a prize is unavailable, the Promoter may substitute that prize with a prize that is equal in value or type subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

6. Draw

This is a game of chance. All valid entries will be drawn by barrel draw. Weekly prizes will be drawn at 3PM AEST on 16/07/2021, 23/07/2021, 30/07/2021 and 6/08/2021. The Grand Prizes will be drawn at 3PM AEST 09/08/2021. The draw will take place at the Promoter’s office in East Bentleigh.

 

 

7. Winners

The winners of the prize will be announced on the Promoter’s website (Catch.com.au) by 3PM AEST on the following Monday of each draw for the weekly prizes and by 3PM AEST 10/08/2021 for the Grand Prize. The winners of the prizes will be notified by email. The winners of the prize must sign any release form that may be required by the Promoter or supplier of a prize.

8. Unclaimed prizes

If a prize is unclaimed, the Promoter will draw a winner for the unclaimed prize 3 months after the initial weekly draw at 3PM AEST and by 3PM AEST 09/11/2021 for the Grand Prize, using the same method specified in section 6 and will notify the winner using the same method specified in section 7.

9. Forfeited prizes

The Promoter may forfeit a prize if a winner refuses to sign any release form specified in section 7 or if a winner refuses to accept a prize.

10. Entrant’s personal information

By entering this Promotion, the entrant consents to:

a. the Promoter, or any of its affiliated entities, using the entrant’s details and submission video for future marketing and promotional purposes, except if notified otherwise by the entrant;

b. if entrants are winners, the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and voice in any media platform; and

c. disclosing the entrant’s personal information to third parties, including agents, contractors and suppliers of the Promoter. For the Promoter’s privacy policy, please see https://www.catch.com.au/privacy.

11. Prohibitions and Promoter’s rights

a. This Promotion is subject to the Promoter’s ‘Fair Entries and Participation’ policy. Entrants are prohibited from and will have entries disqualified where the Promoter determines that an entrant has abused, misused or otherwise dishonestly or deceptively entered the promotion or manipulated the results of the Promotion. Entrants will be disqualified where, in the Promoter’s opinion, they are tampering or have tampered with the entry process, using or have used automated entry software or other mechanical or electronic means that allows a person to automatically enter repeatedly, using or have used multiple entries (unless specifically allowed by the Promoter), entering or have entered on behalf of another person(s), or otherwise tampering with the entry process.

b. The Promoter may verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence). The Promoter may disqualify an entrant or winner where the Promoter determines that such entry is not in accordance with these terms and conditions, including the circumstances set out in clause 11.a. above. The Promoter may either disqualify an entrant or modify, suspend, terminate or cancel this Promotion if this Promotion is interfered with or this Promotion is not capable of being conducted as reasonably expected due to a reason beyond the control of the Promoter, including technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

12. Promoter’s liability

The Promoter is not liable for any loss, expense, damage or liability that may be suffered or incurred by a person in entering this Promotion or accepting and using the prizes. If the Promoter is liable, the Promoter’s liability is limited to either resupply of the goods or services. This section 12 does not alter a person’s rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
