Welcome to the Booktopia Catch Store. We have a 13,000 square metre Headquarters and Distribution Centre in Sydney where we normally stock around 650,000 books ready to ship. All of our books are offered at a discount, so you are sure to find a bargain.
This policy includes rights you are entitled to under Australian Consumer Law.
Booktopia does not accept returns or offer refunds for a change of mind.
If you have any concerns about the item you have received then please ensure you contact Booktopia customer service first through your Catch account as soon as possible. You will receive an answer back within 1 business day.
Damaged or Faulty Items
If you have received an item that is incorrect, damaged or faulty we require notification within 2 business days from the time the delivery was made.
Before returning anything you must contact Booktopia customer service as returns will not be accepted without a Return Authorisation. When approved Booktopia will provide a method to return the item with no cost to you for items delivered to Australian addresses only. Booktopia will not reimburse the cost of returns that are sent without a prearranged Return Authorisation or where the address is outside of Australia. Returns must be received within 30 days of the Return Authorisation being given. Returned items must be packed securely to ensure the safety of packaged items, and received at Booktopia in new and re-saleable condition (except where a damaged item has been accepted for return).
Where a Return Authorisation has been given, a refund via the method used for payment of the order will be provided by Booktopia, where the returned item is in re-saleable condition (except damaged or faulty items). Booktopia is not obligated to offer a refund for parcels that do not arrive within the 30 day period or are otherwise not in re-saleable condition. We will contact you if any items are not eligible for a refund.
