Iron Goddess is knownas a premium Chinese tea that can also be called 'Tie guan yin**'** and was first seen in the early 19th century within the Fujian province in China.

Named after the goddess of mercy, Guanyin - this tea can be described as having a mellow floral and perhaps even fruity taste. This tea goes particularly well during and after meals, as is often the custom in Chinese culture.

This particular variation can easily be described as premium, high quality and not to be missed if you're a fan of Chinese teas.

This is a fairly heavy tea, so please take note when selecting your gram sizing!

Brewing

Oolong is known for its ability to be re-steeped, so please feel free to re-use these leaves many times for a different flavour each time!

Water should be close to boiling at about 90 degrees. Only about 4-6 pieces are needed.

Steeping time is a little varied at a between 1-5 minutes. This is due to personal preference so if it's your first time, try 1 minute first.
