If you’ve been thinking about dipping your toe into the world of Spanish whites, this could be the wine for you. From one of our favourites, Celler Masroig in Montsant, this is a super-lively white made from 60/40% macabeo and grenache blanc. Both local varieties thrive in the dry heat and high altitude of the region. We reckon this wine is a bit of a crossover hit for drinkers of aromatic whites that like a palate with texture, one that is not too fruity, but rather zesty and herbaceous. You’ll be surprised at just how quickly a dozen bottles of this will disappear!
