Tasting Notes
The base wine shows a bright golden colour with green hues along the edges. The attractive and perfumed bouquet exudes rich citrus fruit aromas which intermix with subtle oak undertones on the palate, to culminate in a balanced and captivating finale. This enticing Chardonnay is a great match with food items like fruited curry chicken salad, crab cakes, and fresh mozzarella.
Technical Notes
Tyrrell’s Wines is a family owned wine company, established by English immigrant Edward Tyrrell, in 1858. It is currently managed by fourth-generation family member Bruce Tyrrell, who believes in the simple philosophy of producing high quality wine that people love to drink. Stomping Ground Chardonnay is 100% Hunter Valley fruit. The wine was matured in new and old French oak barriques and treated on yeast lees to enhance texture and complexity.
