Helen Price is a Queensland-based Indigenous artist, from Darumbal country. Her Turtle Journey design speaks of the real life migration pattern of turtles, who travel hundreds of miles for breeding season but always return.

The turtle never forgets where it comes from and nothing can keep it from coming home. There is something inside, in its soul, that knows the way, says the artist.

It is similar to the journey back to country, where your soul is at home. Its this literal and figurative journey that Price had in mind when she created Turtle Journey.
