Most beginner guitars have nylon strings but unless you want to play classical or Spanish music, you may be disappointed. (If you do prefer the sound of a classical/Spanish style guitar we have a range available in our store).
It has a Low String Action (all our guitars are set-up at the factory for the optimum beginner playing level). String action is the measurement from the top of the 12th fret to the bottom of the string. This is very important because a guitar with a high action is hard to play, a guitar with too low an action will buzz and sound bad. Artist Guitars are set up at the factory for the optimum level for a beginner.
It has a Built-in Pickup with EQ & Tuner so if you want to play through an amp or PA system, or even record, it's easy to connect your guitar up for a great sound.
A Truss Rod that allows you to correct for the effects of weather on the guitar help keep the neck straight and the action height the neck can be adjusted.
Comes included with a Bag to protect your guitar, Strap and a Preamp with Built-in Tuner - A tuner for a beginner are vital. A guitar needs to be tuned every time you play. Artist BSK20V2 20 Watt Battery Powered Amplifier
We are doing ;a clearance on the BSK20V2 at a huge saving due to a manufacturer's fault that has been brought to our attention. The issue we have found with the BSK20V2 is that there is a static buzz that is louder than what is desirable for most players. That being said the amp still functions as described below however the buzz is louder than that of other similar amplifiers. ; Now with an improved high-quality 6.5'' woofer and a soft dome tweeter for greater clarity!
One of the latest amplifiers to come into our line of great value-for-money amplifiers, the BSK20V2 offers a lot. The perfect companion for the busking musician or for those still learning and needing an amp on the go. It features portability and sound versatility. With its built-in rechargeable battery (up to 8 hours battery life), this amplifier is ideal for street gigs, rehearsals, and lessons anywhere.
It has a 20 Watt Output RMS through an 6.5 inch speaker and 1'' tweeter. It has a high input gain with a 3 band EQ for your instrument and a high/low input with a Level and Tone control for your mic. You're also able to play along to your favourite backing tracks or music by connecting your audio device via Bluetooth. To top it all off, the amplifier has a built-in digital reverb. It also features a headphone input for those times that you want to practice but need to be quiet.
The BSK20V2 has 3 rubber feet on 3 sides to switch between the different operational positions. The amp can be powered either via an AC or DC Power supply.
This amp is multi-purpose, and functions in a similar way to a PA system. If you want to use it for electric guitars, you may want to use it with a pedal that has amp simulation and cab/speaker emulation. That said, it can be used for acoustic guitars, electric guitars, and bass.
