Very dark red with a bright purple hue. Deeply scented with layers of aromas including mulberry, blackcurrant, graphite, and tobacco leaf. Hints of cedar and cocoa. Supple but rich flavours of black fruits with soft acidity and smooth lingering tannins. It is possible to enjoy this wine now with food, but it will soften and gain complexity over the next 5-20 years.

Enjoy with a salt crusted lamb roast, seasonal vegetables and a light red wine sauce. A lighter grazing board with soft cheddar or creamy polenta with pan fried greens like Asparagus and Broccolini.
