70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay from grapes grown in a total of 13 different Premier and Grand Crus. This Champagne shows beautifully balanced fruit with richness and power. Bollinger's use of oak adds a wildness on the nose showing honey, walnut, cashew & loads of bread-like aromas that then flow onto the palate. There is a lively, crunchy acidity that ensures the palate is in no way flabby but this wine is taut, racy, balanced & lengthy.
