Food Grade Orthophosphoric Additive Aqueous Solution
Phosphoric acid is best known as a rust remover. When the solution in liquid is placed directly on rusted areas of steel steel tools or steel surfaces the rust is converted from the red oxide to a black ferric phosphate. After the rust has been converted to black ferric phosphate it can easily be scrubbed off.
Industrially phosphoric acid may be used in fertilizers detergents pharmaceuticals water treatment food additive and cleaning products.

Phosphoric Acid is uséd to acidify foods and beverages such as various colas and jams.
Phosphoric acid is a clear colourless and odourless liquid. Phosphoric acid will not burn although it can form very hazardous decomposition products. Since the acid is corrosive contact with metals can increase flammable hydrogen gas.

- Store phosphoric acid in a cool well-ventilated area protected from moisture and heat.
- Keep away from incompatible substances such as oxidising agents metals combustible materials and alkalis.
