A Brief Note Regarding Compatibility:
In mid 2016, Boss Openers (Now known as Steel-Line Automation) updated the BHT4 2211-L (TX) remote control to the newer 303RTX remote control. Whilst what was updated within the remote is still not clear, the affects of this update are very clear.
If you have a roller door motor, this remote will not work. Panel / Tilt / Overhead doors are unaffected.
Somehow, this update has stopped this 303RTX remote from pairing with the roller door motors that used to use the old 2211-L (TX) remotes. If you require a replacement for your 2211-L (TX) remote control, our recommended option is the Active Series BHT4 Remote Control (Click Here). This was designed to work as a 2211-L (TX) remote.
PLEASE NOTE THESE REMOTES OPERATE UNDER THE LEARN CODE SYSTEM. IF YOUR CURRENT REMOTE HAS DIP SWITCHES THIS REMOTE WILL NOT WORK
The Boss BHT4 remote control transmitter suits:
- Most Boss, Centurian, Guardian, Lynx and Steel-Line openers operating on the 303MHz frequency band.
- Boss remote controls that have 2211-L (TX) on the back. Please make sure your remote is not on a different frequency however, by checking your motors information panel.
- Boss remote controls that have 303-RTX on the back. Please make sure your remote is not on a different frequency however, by checking your motors information panel.
