Bowmore 33 Year Old Frank Quitely The Changeling Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml

Limited Release of 667 Bottles

Beginning its 31½ years in cask, the spirit was nurtured by American oak hogsheads, to create the signature style of Bowmore. Much like the blacksmiths' son, this was then transformed after maturing in more than just one cask type. Eighteen months of further aging followed in tawny port casks, a rich style of maturation known for its stewed fruit and spice notes.

An intriguing collection of meadow flowers, peaches, plums and summer grass levitate from the glass; more floral notes meld with stewed figs, port and whisps of peat transporting us to the depths of the party of the fairy hill. These ethereal notes are transformed by the appearance of peat smoke, iodine and minerality that transfix the senses. The unmistakable notes of Bowmore's stewed fruit and peat smoke, brine, and warming oak spice hark to the final scene of the smiths' forge.
