Only neutral barrels are employed. Whole cluster pressed chardonnay. We don't promote or prohibit malolactic fermentation, allowing wine to be in balance, bright and elegant.

Founded in 1995 by Greg Brewer, one of the founding fathers of the Sta. Rita Hills AVA. The wines are made from Estate grown fruit with rocky, maritime based soils. The specialties are chardonnay and pinot noir using 100% whole cluster. Brewer Clifton is proudly a sustainable vineyard using organic farming. Greg Brewer was awarded winemaker of the year in 2020 for Wine Enthusiast Magazine.
