BRITISH RAILWAY STATIONS 1825-1900

Not all of the stations opened before 1900 survived into the post-Victorian era and, in this companion volume to the well-received British Railway Stations Since 1901, where the 9,000 or so in that period were identified and located, we examine those stations that were opened during the 19th century but failed to survive into the 20th.
