Brokenback Hunter Valley Semillon 2016 Vintage 750 ml
This beautifully sweet Late Harvest Semillon provides a delicious dinner party conclusion. It comes from Leogate Estate, named after the large lion-adorned iron gates that guard their Pokolbin vineyards.
Medium lemon in colour, it displays aromas of lemon, grapefruit, lanolin with lifted floral and grassy notes. Its rich, warm palate has a juicy core of sweet citrus fruit and a honeysuckle-like richness. Savoury and textural, it has a lovely backbone of racy acidity and more-ish persistence.
Tasting Note: Palate displays sweet, ripe lemon flavours with a hint of lime leaves. Good balance of ripe fruit flavours combined with fresh, crunchy acidity creating a complex wine with good length. Medium bodied, late harvest style, not overly sweet.
