A handcrafted 28 Year Old Single Malt from Bunnahabhain bottled by Wemyss Malts. This release was named 'Untold Riches' and combines 31 hogsheads and sherry butts from several parcels of decades old, unpeated Bunnahabhain.

Nose: An initial aroma of cracked leather, dusty books and antique wood reveals the decades of cask maturation. Dark fruits, maraschino cherries and orange oil all develop like a gourmet Black Forest Gateau.

Taste: Full bodied and smooth with demerara coated walnuts and pecans mingling with plums, dates, banana bread and stick toffee pudding sauce. Hints of salinity and mineral notes come through as salted caramel or waxy honey.

Finish: Mild spice hints of saffron, clove and nutmeg. Gentle wood smoke and salted caramel lingers for many seconds.
