Bushmills 32 Year Old Causeway Collection Cask Strength Port Cask Single Malt Irish Whiskey 700ml

Bushmills 32 Years Old The Causeway Collection is one of the oldest expressions ever released by the distillery. The whiskey was distilled on 19 April 1989 and matured for 32 years in port cask #6095. It was then bottled in 2021 at a cask strength of 53.8%.

Matured in port casks and aged for an incredible 32 years, this is a smooth and elegant Bushmills Single Malt.

The nose begins with notes of sweet nuts, aromatic herbs and lots of summer fruits. It is sweet but refined, with a lovely depth and darkness to it.

The palate is full of citrus fruits, orchard notes and oak wood. The Port flavours come through as warming spices and dried fruits, with summer berries and delicate herbs as well. Oak wood, vanilla and caramel add a lovely sweetness overall.

The finish is bold and full of oak wood, floral notes and cinnamon.

"I believe it's an expensive bottle, which is a good thing because otherwise, many of us would down a case within two weeks. Extremely drinkable, while the Port finish was done in a civilised fashion. I just totally love it; everyone would." - Serge, Whisky Fun
