Cameron Daddo - Songs From The Shed CD

Following along from his 2013 album Ten Songs...and change. Cameron Daddo is releasing a new EP, which includes six original tunes, and a newly recorded duet with Max Merritt of his 1975 hit, 'Slipping Away.'

After spending nearly three years behind the mic at SmoothFM, Cameron felt inspired to write and record an EP of songs that would be at home on any Smooth playlist. Though he has remained true to his love of country music and included a couple of up-tempo country rockers.

The lyrics are personal and the melodies singable, Songs From The Shed, named after the location where Daddo fine-tuned the songs at his home in the hills of Topanga, in southern California. He brought together his and long-time collaborator John O'Kennedy and US based Australian producer Andrew Furze to produce the EP with him.

Fans of the The Sound of Music, will be happy to hear the duet, 'Only You Know', Daddo shares the vocal duties with Amy Lehpamer who plays Maria to his Captain Von Trapp in the current stage play touring Australia.
