Dewar's 16 Year Old Double Agent Sweet & Smoky Blended Scotch Whisky 1l

Release No. 001 From New Double Cask Series

A Blended Scotch with a curious combination of cask finishes.

Dewar's whiskies always go through a double ageing process to add more smoothness. After this second maturation, the 'Double Agent' edition is separated in two batches. The first is finished in Sweet Sherry casks, the other in Smoky Islay casks. The liquids are then brought together with amazing results: a delicious sweet whisky with secret smoky notes. Or is it a smoky whisky with hidden sweet notes?

Tasting Notes:

A fusion of luscious ripe apricots, drizzled with honey and spiced aromas of cinnamon and cloves, entwined with wisps of fragrant and aromatic spice.
