The smaller and lighter DJI Ronin-SC Pro Combo brings many improvements over its predecessor, the Ronin-S three-axis gimbal. Coming in at only 1.1kg (gimbal & battery grip) the Ronin-SC packs a punch with an abundance of features, technology and design enhancements. The gimbal features stabilization, pan, tilt, and roll control in addition to 360 degree panning to create steady 3d/360 motion shots.

Updated ActiveTrack 3.0 over Bluetooth 5.0 using the Android or iOS app helps users track a subject without having to use any controls on the gimbal during recording. DJI Force Mobile allows remote gimbal control using your smartphone's gyroscope when mounted on a rig or tripod. This new additional mode helps the user perform precise and natural gimbal movements.

Sport Mode

Rapid responsitivity under high-speed moving ensures you are always on target, ready to react to the action in front of the camera. Sport mode improves the sensitivity of each axis making Ronin-SC more effective in fast follows and even complete changes in direction.

DJI Ronin-SC Compact Design

  • The Ronin-SC was built to go anywhere. Robust performance and high-strength materials like magnesium and aluminum along with high-strength composite materials makes it only 1.1 kg. The modular and quick setup design ensures the Ronin-SC can pack down in limited spaces and be carried with ease. The buttons and trigger are easy to reach and a flared battery grip makes extended holding easy.
  • Axis locks on each arm makes carrying the gimbal a breeze and helps with individual axis balancing. The Quick-Release Plate includes a positioning block for the camera position allowing instant remounting.

DJI ActiveTrack 3.0

With a smartphone mounted above the camera, the Ronin app, the Ronin-SC and phone work together to achieve smooth, precise gimbal movement, allowing you to focus more on making your vision come to life.

DJI Force Mobile

You can now use the new Force Mobile mode to have the gimbal follow the motion of a smartphone remotely for intuitive operation. Ultra-low latency ensures smooth control and allows for a unique "handheld" organic look to your footage. In practice this works similar to DJI Force Pro camera movement control system. You can control the gimbal by tilting and rotating your smartphone.

Automatic Calibration

With Auto Calibration mode enabled the gimbal will automatically select an appropriate motor stiffness value based on the weight of the current payload.

Offset Roll Motor

The Ronin-SC leaves the camera's LCD screen unblocked by using an offset roll axis. This also helps to minimize camera shake that commonly occurs when moving from upright to underslung modes and vice versa. Options like an infinite 360° roll allow filmmakers to achieve completely unique shots.

DJI Ronin App

The Ronin app has been improved for an even better user experience making Ronin-SC professional and easy to use. The layout has been refined to offer quicker access to preset scenarios. It also includes a balancing guide, along with tutorials to help users master their handheld gimbal.
