Tasting Notes:

Deep dense red brick in colour. Concentrated nose, pinpoint ripeness, and black fruits with incredible elegance. Full bodied sweet ripe flavours of dark berries and plum, it has lushness and the flavours fold over one another in masses, which create an array of gorgeous flavours. Chocolate, mocha, spice and even acid play a part here. The perfectly timed ripeness is what keeps grabbing you. Smooth grained tannin's come late and the finish is like Velvet.

Technical Notes:

Einzellage is a German word which means an individual vineyard site. Our wines pay tribute to the early German settlers who planted these vineyards which create wines with intense aromatics, fruit definition and depth of flavour. Fruit is selected from sineyard vinaeyard sites from some of the Barossa's finest growers and various sub regions across the region. This Shiraz is sourced from a single vinyard from the vines planted late last century located hig on the western ridge of the Barossa from the Seppeltsfield sub region.
