Replacement cutting head for the Fiskars UPX82 and UPX86 Tree Pruners only. Simple DIY installation.

With adaption it will replace Fiskars Cutting head 96361649 used on the previous Fiskars UP82 and UP86 (See images)

Suits latest model:

How to fit: - Simple DIY installation. No special skills or technical knowledge required.

  • Remove the Cutting Head fastening machine screw with a 4mm Allen key
  • Slide of the cutting head from the end of the wand
  • Slide the black plastic transition block apart along the dovetail connection
    The transition block connects the cord to the tape which is fitted through the roller of the lower half of the transition block
  • Slide in the new transition block half of the new cutting head assembly
  • Reinstall the Cutting Head to the wand.

Suits previous models, with adaption by user. You drill out & supply bolt. (See image):

How to fit: (See image)

  • Remove the old cutting head by tapping it out with a hammer or block of wood. Tap onto the reel.
  • Release the tape from the handle and pull out thetape from the roller of the old cutting head.
  • Refit the tape through the roller fitted to the new cutting head. Watch the instructional video for Fiskars Tape & Cord Kit for UP82 (Fiskars 1027525) or for Fiskars Tape & Cord Kit for Telescopic UP86 (Fiskars 1027526)
  • Slide the new cutting head over the open end of the aluminium wand tapping it right down to the limit.
  • Adjust and secure the tape through the pull handle
  • Pull down the handle to close the jwas of the cutting head then drill a 5.5m hole through the fastening bolt hole.
  • Purchaser to supply & fit a 45mm - 50mm x M5 machine bolt & nut & tighten securely.
