A mild and dry ripening season lead to a long period of flavour and tannin development. Dark cherries, plums and raspberries on the nose, with background forest floor, gamey notes. Slightly lighter palate feel due to the cooler ripening season. Cherries, spiced plums, dried rose petals, balsamic strawberries and drying tannin with a nice easy out to fresh acid and slight tea and tobacco notes.

This Australian Sangiovese Red wine would be a match made in heaven with these dishes, beef, lamb, fame, mushrooms, mature and hard cheese. Bon appétit!
