Each tool locks when opened. This prevents unnecessary closing. The Gerber Center Drive is a full-size multi tool with fully-fledged tools.

Screwdriver with liner lock
The Gerber CenterDrive is the first multi tool enhanced with a fully-fledged screwdriver on the middle axis and one standard bit. The magnetic bit can be replaced and comes with a Philips head and a flat blade bit. You store one bit on the screwdriver and the other in the bit holder. However, you can also exchange the bit for the one you already own. All standard sizes will fit, without extension! A liner lock firmly keeps the screwdriver in place when opened, making sure it wont close when you dont want it to.

Pliers, with one-handed opening

Another important tool on the Gerber Center-Drive is the pair of pliers. Easy to be opened with one hand because of the sliding mechanism. Because of the spring the pliers open automatically unlike most multi tools where you need to open the pliers by hand. The wire cutter can also be replaced when blunt.

Complete knife, with one-handed opening, liner lock
The large droppoint knife is made from 420HC steel. A top-quality type of steel. The blade is razor-sharp and has a cutting edge of at least 7.5 cm. A lot bigger than most multi tool knives. Once opened the knife is firmly kept in place by the liner lock. As such it will never close when it is not supposed to, making it the perfect knife for the heavier tasks. When opening and closing the blade you hear that familiar click.

The Gerber Center-Drive comes with a nylon sheath with belt loops. You can vertically attach the sheath to the belt to have easy access to your multi tool. In addition, the front pouch gives you enough room to store a pen or other item to your liking.
