Glenallachie 12-year-old single malt Scotch whisky, released in mid-2018. This expression contains whisky that has been aged in Pedro Ximenez, Oloroso, and virgin oak casks, resulting in a complex flavor profile of fruit, oak, and vanilla. Polished Bronze is the color of this whisky. On the nose, there are notes of fried bananas, almonds, cola cubes, and freshly cut oak. On the palate, honey, marzipan, and bananas mingle with butterscotch, raisins, and a delicate hint of mocha. On the finish, it's very slightly chocolatey.
