GLENDRONACH PORTWOOD NAS SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY 46% 700ML

Following on from its Peated Port Wood Finish, GlenDronach have released another sumptuous single malt that has enjoyed a rest in Port casks. This particular expression is a 10 year old whisky, initally aged in Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks before being finished in Port pipes from Portugal's Douro valley.

TASTING NOTES:

APPEARANCE: Intense cherry wood.

NOSE: Breathe in delightful waves of Victoria plum, bramble and strawberry jam with top notes of cherry blossom and honeysuckle on a base of sandalwood and ginger.

PALATE: Layers upon layers of rich fruits. Sip blackberry and roasted apple crumble with freshly baked gingerbread, developing into a baked orange and black cherry back-note.

CONCLUSION: Savour orange peel, sultana and cherry cake lingering into the richly fruity finish.
