Bridging the boundary of the Highlands and Lowlands, Glengoyne is a unique distillery in that they don't use peat smoke to dry their barley; rather they simple use warm air. This gives the whiskies produce a feel of grace and subtlety. This 15-Year Old Single Malt is supremely complex, sweet and well-rounded. There's a wonderful spicy oak finish that compliments the luscious palate that is enhanced by the process of air drying the barley. The hand-selected sherry casks also provide a richness that continues into the finish of this fine whisky that's ideally suited to enjoying neat.
