Herradura Directo Tequila 55% 750ml

Unaged for pure flavor. Herradura Directo de Alambique forgoes the barrel aging process to preserve the true, tequila flavor. Bottled straight from the still gives the liquid a crystal-clear color and a 110-proof rating. The end result is a smooth and complex tequila with a lasting, subtly-sweet aftertaste with notes of sweet agave, green pepper, citrus, and a hint of herbs and spice.

Directo is made from 100% blue agave, without barrel aging, to reflect a fresh tequila flavor. This small-batch tequila is produced using only the finest blue agave plants, harvested at the peak of perfection. It is then fermented with natural yeast amid the warm breeze and citrus trees of Casa Herradura, a process entirely unique in the industry. Finally, it is bottled direct from the still at 110 proof, preserving the fresh, youthful flavor of Herraduraa€(TM)s beautiful tequila, a taste unchanged since 1870. The result is a crystal-clear tequila with robust notes of sweet agave, green pepper, citrus and a hint of herbs and spice. Taken together, these notes provide a smooth, complex and prolonged presence. A bold tequila expression for true tequila lovers.

Born in 1870, Casa Herradura is the last true tequila producing Hacienda on the planet. Within its ancient walls, we craft and estate-bottle some of the finest tequilas anyone has ever tasted. It is here that we invented the first reposado and extra aAejo, forever changing the world of tequila. And it is here, from the small town of AmatitAn in the heart of Mexicoa€(TM)s tequila region, that we continue to set the standard for whata€(TM)s to come.
