Highland Park's The Valhalla Collection comprises of four releases Thor, Loki, Freya and Odin in celebrating the distillerys Norse heritage and it is presented in the same distinctive wooden frame resembling a traditional Viking long ship.
The second release in the Collection is Loki, a 15 Year Old Single Malt representing the shape-shifting nature of Loki, the trickster. Loki, one of the most complex character in Norse mythology, constantly challenging the gods, questioning their order and hierarchy within Asgard. Yet, with every treacherous situation he engineers, his actions ultimately create heroes amongst the other gods.

Nose: Red apple, peat, malt, brine, wine gum.

Taste: Big peat starts, then sweetness quickly overtakes, strawberry, plum, smoky and salty.

Finish: Spices, peat & oak add a dryness, but the fruits are now shy.
