Jack Daniels Single Barrel Barrel Proof Rye 66.20% Tennessee Whiskey 750ml

132.4 Proof / 66.2% ABV

This annual special release Single Barrel Barrel Proof Rye celebrates the early craftsmanship of the Jack Daniel Distillery, honoring a time when American whiskey was often high in rye content and offered at barrel strength. Bottled in its purest form right from the barrel and uncut at full proof, it’s packed with Jack character with our signature smooth finish. Proof will range from 125-140.

" Let me cut to the chase: this Jack Daniel’s Barrel Proof Single Barrel is one of best ryes I’ve had all year. It takes the incredibly well-balanced Jack Daniel’s Bonded Rye I reviewed earlier this month and cranks everything up to another level." - Chris Ellis, The Whisky Study (95 Points)

" Each sip of this single barrel is bursting with intense flavors. For sure, this drinks hot, but it’s not the punishing kind of hot; it’s actually quite rewarding ... This rye whiskey easily satisfies rye-lovers and may also be sweet enough to lure in enthusiasts who don’t care much about rye. I seriously don’t think there are any downside to these picks." Mike & Mike, The Bourbon Culture

" A new ongoing release Jack Daniel’s fans are sure to be excited about." - Nick Beiter, Breaking Bourbon

"This wowed me. My sample was 130.8 proof and it’s been a while since I tasted a whiskey that strong and wanted another sip." - Faith Raspante, The Whisky Wash

"Knocking it out of the park here. Jack Daniels delivers a long time ask from me this year in the form of a powerful rye that manages to remain complex and enticing, even in the face of 60+% ABV." - Whisky Raiders

"It’s bold and citrus-forward on the finish, with notes of spiced almonds and chocolate, and it surprisingly drinks fairly easily even at more than 65% abv." - Christopher Null, Drinkhacker (91 Points)
