Frill shape leaves with plum centre surrounded by dark green-to-purple outer leaves, also known as flowering kale and ornamental cabbage. The colour is more intense in cool weather. Very uniform, vigorous plant frame. Great for adding colour and interest to garden beds and borders. Suitable for pots, salad and garnish. Grows up to 30 cm high. Hardy Biennial (usually grown as an annual)

Sowing Instructions:

Sow direct or raise seedlings in late summer and autumn at 10 mm deep, 45 cm apart. Emerge in 4-10 days at 8-30oC. Requires full sun to part shade and moist, well-drained soil. Maturity in 80-90 days.
