Kentucky Owl Takumi Edition is the second Limited Edition release from Kentucky Owl in 2022, following Kentucky Owl Bourbon St. Patricks Edition.
This special edition from Kentucky Owl combines bourbon whiskey with the art of Japanese whisky blending.
Kentucky Owl Takumi Edition is a collaboration with John Rhea, Kentucky Owls master blender, and Yahisa Yusuke, Japanese whiskey master blender for Nagahama Distillery in Shiga Prefecture, Japan.
The Takumi Edition is a blend of 4, 5, 6, and 13 Year Old Kentucky straight bourbons selected by Master Blender John Rhea of Kentucky Owl and blended by Yusuke Yahisa of the Nagahama Distillery.

Nose: Vanilla, cookies, biscuits, caramel. Some herbs underneath.

Taste: Honey, caramel, vanilla. Sweet, full, intense. Maybe some ripe yellow fruit, spices, cinnamon, ginger. Slightly oily.

Finish: Spices, cinnamon, ginger, caramel, vanilla. Yellow fruit in a sweet brine. Medium-long finish.
