Kilchoman 100% Islay 12th Edition Single Farm Single Malt

This is the 12th Edition in Kilchoman's 100% Islay series and it represents the revival of traditional farm distilling: growing their own barley before malting, distilling, maturing and bottling every bottle of their 100% Islay range on site.
It was distilled from Kilchoman's 2011, 2012 and 2013 barley harvests, consisting of publican barley variety grown exclusively on Islay, then matured in 29 bourbon barrels and 6 oloroso sherry butts for a minimum of 8 years.

Nose: Peat smoke, cold ash, citrus notes, Italian herbs, subtle berries.

Taste: Creamy-oily texture, pleasant mouthfeel, peat smoke, earthy, herbal notes, pleasantly sweet fruit.

Finish: Medium length finish, creamy and warming.
