Part of the Lagavulin Offerman Edition Series, this 11 Year Old Charred Oak Cask is the third release. The American actor Nick Offerman was known for his woodcraft skills and passion for steak and whisky and started a partnership with Lagavulin in 2014.
This special release was matured for 11 years in American and European oak casks that are shaved down then heavily re-charred.

Nose: Sweet peat smoke, maritime, notes of red and black berries. Vanilla and some wood spices.

Taste: Gentle start, sweet smoke, maritime with salt and iodine, sweet berry fruit notes develop, dark chocolate and spices from the oak.

Finish: Pretty long with cocoa and bitterness. Sweet, fruity and spicy notes.
