A bottling released to celebrate the 2021 Jazz festival on Islay. These Limited Editions are released annually to coincide with the Lagavulin sponsorship of the Islay Jazz Festival.
This Limited Edition has been matured for 13 years in refill American oak and then finished in ex-Mezcal casks (first-ever for Lagavulin), bottled at cask strength.
Only 3,000 bottles released.

Nose: Honey, herbs, peat, smoke, vanilla, oak wood, something herbaceous, fruity, apple, plum, pineapple.

Taste: Peaty, smoky, subtle sweetness, some honey, fruity, salty, herbal.

Finish: Medium long, warm, peaty, smoky, herbal, a tad bitter.
