A bottling released to celebrate the 2022 Jazz festival on Islay. These Limited Editions are released annually to coincide with the Lagavulin sponsorship of the Islay Jazz Festival.
This Limited Edition has been matured for 14 years in refill American oak and then finished in brandy seasoned hogsheads, bottled at cask strength.
Only 3,000 bottles released.

Nose: Sea coal and oil, perfume of white flowers, the flavour of brandy barrels, and the dark fruit flavour.

Taste: Sweetness, seawater, seaweed, peat accompanied by dark fruits such as grapes.

Finish: Dryness, firewood, a touch of salty bitterness.
