Tasting Notes:

Nose Smoky citrus, nutty cereal, ham and cola.

Palate Salted caramel, dried fruit, barbecued apple and citrus.

Finish Marine peat, oak spice and fruit and nut.

"There was more sherry in earlier ‘Jazz’ Lagavulins. Now, I’m a sucker for both styles." - Serge, Whisky Fun (91 Points)

"The nose offers red fruits, apricots, honey, all in addition to salt and smoke. Plenty of sherry influence on the palate as well, with nuttiness and more plums and dark red fruits. Pepper and spice factor in on the finish, as smoke and peat return as well. Smooth, long and big finish. Those sherry casks are the dominant player in this one." - Jake Emen, Distiller (95 Points)
