A rich, luscious expression from the Kentucky bourbon distillery, this has been finished with a unique selection of staves:

2 x Baked American Pure 2
American oak slowly toasted, adds brown sugar, vanilla, caramel and spice.

1 x Seared French Cuvee
French oak cooked with infrared heat, oak and caramel.

3 x Makers 46
Dried fruits, vanilla and spiced, used for the Maker's 46 expression.

2 x Roasted French Mocha (now discontinued)
French oak toasted at high heat in a conventional oven, coffee, maple and cacao.

2 x Toasted French Spice
French oak cooked at both high and low temps in a conventional oven, smoke, coumarin and spice.

Tasting Notes:

Colour: copper (M7).

Nose: Intense notes of caramel and toffee as well as hints of vanilla and oak.

Palate: Powerful and full-bodied on the tongue. Notes of liquorice and vanilla are accompanied by fine oak spices.

Finish: Long-lasting and warming, with caramel candies, oak and more vanilla.
