The Nero D’Avola is spicy, jubey red to blue fruits and complexing varietal dried herb aromas. The palate displays a medium bodied style with a bright red fruit core. Fantastic driving, fine grained tannins are round of this Australian example of this Sicilian classic.

Nero d'Avola works well with darker meats, like lamb, duck, and beef. It's a wonderful partner for roasted or grilled meat dishes. It can stand up to Greek cuisine, like gyros or moussaka, and naturally works well with spicier Italian sausages or sauces like puttanesca.
