MEETING AT THE CROSSROADS is an Irish celebration of music, song and dance showcasing a rare combination of some of the most extraordinary musical talents from Ireland and the US. The eight performers featured in this two-hour show will enthrall you with their unique fusion of musical styles encompassing Irish, Folk and Traditional music, all superbly complemented by Irish step dancing. True to Irish culture, this is a family oriented event and captures the joy of playing, humor and witticism and the Irish spirit. The audience is taken on a journey through Ireland. A crossroads has held a special significance in many different cultures. It is considered a no-man’s land, free and open to everyone. A popular historical custom in Ireland was for people to congregate at the crossroads, to dance, sing and play music. This unique evening of music was recorded live in HD on the Emerald Coast in Florida, the performers meet at the crossroads to share a spark of Ireland with you and a glimpse into their Irish heritage and musical history. Meeting At The Crossroads features some well-known Irish traditional instrumental pieces and songs along with more contemporary tracks. This cast is made up of the pinnacle in the guild of Irish musical artists who have performed all over the world and represented their countries many times.
