Method and Madness Single Pot Still French Chestnut Finish Irish Whiskey An intriguing release from the first batch of Midleton's Method and Madness whiskeys, Single Pot Still aged in chestnut casks. The bottling has been initially matured in sherry and bourbon barrels, before enjoying a finishing period in French chestnut. Nose: Red liquorice laces, fresh rosemary and mint, grated root ginger. Taste: Sweet fruit and spice, cinnamon toast, ripe banana. Finish: Aromatic green tea, dissipating fruit and spice, rich wood farewell.
