Totally opaque black dark red colour with a bright red to dark hue. Smoky dark plum and liquorice scents show plenty of potency out of the glass with dried meat, earth and peppered clove scents also present.

Rich dark plum and liquorice fruits carry good weight and a fleshy, plush feel across the mid weighted palate.

Scorched earth, dried meats, toasty cedar and peppered herbs add complexity on the back half. Very polished tannins yet structurally sturdy and firm. The long, concentrated conclusion laced with earthy blackpepper characters.

Drink over the next 8-10 years.

Pairs well with beef, lamb, game and poultry.
