Musubi 48 Cochae Manekineko Red Furoshiki Wrapping Cloth

This Japanese Furoshiki was designed by origami artist duo, Cochae. Four different types of lucky cats are designed, and you can enjoy the different expressions of the lucky cats depending on how you wrap them. It used to be said in Japan, that businesses and households with cats would prosper because they get rid of mice that damage their grains and crops. It is now a well-known symbol that brings money and fortune and is called "lucky cat".

The moderate unevenness of the surface gives it more texture than a flat fabric and is easier to wrap. The more you use this cotton material, the softer and gentler the texture becomes. With this unique Japanese motifs and bright design, it is recommended for everyday use as well as for gift-giving.

  • Dimension: 48cm x 48cm

The size of 48 cm(18.9in) is suitable for wrapping small items or bento boxes. This Furoshiki is friendly to both people and the environment.

Note: Small black spots can be seen on the fabric of this series, but they are left behind because the cotton has not been bleached to preserve its natural colour. Please enjoy them as the charm of natural materials.
